About Abby Health
Abby Health is Australia's busiest online clinic, built for the future of primary care.
Founded in 2023, Abby was established to address one of the most urgent issues in Australian healthcare: access. With one in three Australians now without a regular GP, we're reimagining how people access everyday care-without losing what makes care personal: long-term relationships and detailed patient histories.
We connect patients to licensed GPs and nurse practitioners through same-day, online first care-delivering high-quality treatment for everyday issues, from headaches to herpes, coughs to cramps, and everything in between. Behind the scenes, we use structured patient histories, smart intake tools, and streamlined workflows to make every consult feel more like self-care.
Our approach is guided by three core values:
- Smart - Intelligent systems that surface what matters, when it matters
- Beautiful - A thoughtful, intuitive experience for patients and clinicians alike
- Caring - Human support, continuity of care, and relationships that last
We believe the future of primary care is affordable, same-day, and online first. A system where most care is delivered remotely-supported by pre-diagnosis tools, wearables, alerts, and proactive follow-up. In-person visits become the exception, not the default. It's a smarter, safer, more efficient model-one that finally puts patients first.
And it's already happening.
Since launching, Abby has become one of the most trusted names in digital healthcare in Australia. We're used by hundreds of thousands of Australians, with a 4.7/5 average rating on Google and Trustpilot.
We're quality-first and purpose-driven. Whether you're a patient looking for better answers or a clinician looking for a better way to practise-Abby is here to make care better, for everyone.
Smart. Beautiful. Caring. That's the future we're building-for Australian primary care, and the people who rely on it.
About the role
Fully remote Telehealth consulting are available across Australia, seven days a week from 5:30am to 11:30pm.
We offer
- A transparent and competitive remuneration model with no lock in contracts and 70% of billings directly to you.
- A strong focus on patient safety and quality of care
- Practice operations aligned with Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) requirements
- A workplace consistent with Medical Defence Organisation (MDO) standards and professional indemnity obligations

Who are we: Founded by Clinicians, Designed for Clinicians
Abby Health was founded by experienced clinicians who understand the challenges of balancing high-quality patient care with work-life balance. Our Telehealth platform is designed to give doctors more control over their schedule and patient load, allowing them to focus on medicine rather than administrative burdens. All practitioners on Abby Health are fully licensed, Australian-based General Practitioners (GPs) with years of experience. They are trained in Telehealth and follow strict medical guidelines to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care. All of our patients receive the same level of medical expertise as they would in a traditional clinic.
How will you make an impact
At Abby Health, we care for a diverse range of patients, from young professionals managing their health on the go to rural Australians who struggle to access in-person care. Many of our patients don't have a regular GP, so they rely on Abby for trusted, ongoing support. Our team of clinicians have seen over 170,000 patients through over 500,000 consults in the past 12 months. Our clinicians diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, from general health concerns and chronic conditions to mental health and sexual health care. From new diagnosis to prescription, pathology request, specialist referral, or preventative care, we ensure they get the right treatment without unnecessary barriers.
Applicants must meet the following requirements
- AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), the Australian College of Remote & Rural Medicine (ACRRM), or an equivalent specialist qualification
We offer a professional and ethical approach to patient care
A professional and ethical approach to patient care in Australia is guided by nationally recognised standards and codes developed by regulatory bodies such as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and individual National Boards (e.g., Medical Board of Australia). These standards ensure clinicians deliver safe, respectful, and culturally competent care that prioritises patient well-being.
What is required to join Abby Health
- Digital Fluency
- Clinicians must be comfortable using Telehealth platforms, digital records, and online communication tools. A basic understanding of practice management software is required.
- Work from home set up
- A quiet, private workspace is required for Telehealth consultations. Clinicians must have high-speed internet, a webcam, and a microphone to ensure clear communication.

If you've been weighing up a move out of Sydney, Kingscliff is worth a serious look.
About Coastal Dental Care Kingscliff
It's one of the most sought-after stretches of coastline in the country, with a genuine, close-knit community feel, right on the NSW-Queensland border. You're about 20 minutes from the Gold Coast and around 15 minutes' drive from Gold Coasts International Airport, so family and friends can visit easily, and a flight home is never far away. We've looked after Kingscliff families since 1969, from the Kingscliff Professional Centre on Pearl Street, right in the heart of town.
We're dentist-owned, so the clinical calls stay with the clinicians, and you've got the backing of a network of more than 12 practices behind you. The team here is well established: a hygienist, an oral health therapist and an on-site prosthetist work alongside the dentists, so you're well supported and can refer in-house. We're offering a relocation package to the successful candidate, the details to be confirmed with you directly. If you've been ready to trade the Sydney grind for a genuine coastal life without losing your career momentum, this is a rare chance to have both.
About the role
This is a role for a general dentist, full-time or part-time, the rostered days can be flexible to suit you. You'll step into an established book with a steady flow of patients, so you're busy from the start without building from scratch. We're a preferred provider for most major health funds, which keeps that flow consistent. A good day here looks like confident, comprehensive care across a broad general scope, patients who come back and bring their family, and a calm, well-run surgery around you.
What you'll be doing
- Assessing, diagnosing and treating patients across a broad general scope
- Delivering preventative, restorative, endodontic, surgical, periodontal and prosthodontic care
- Using CEREC for same-day crowns, and CBCT, where they help you deliver better care
- Talking patients through their options clearly, so they understand the plan and the cost up front
- Working closely with your assistant and reception team to keep the day running smoothly
- Working within the codes and guidelines of the Dental Board of Australia
What we're looking for
- Current AHPRA registration as a dentist, or eligible for registration, plus indemnity insurance
- Sound clinical judgement across everyday general dentistry
- Easy to work with: warm with patients, steady with the team
- Experience with CEREC for same-day dentistry (preferable but not essential)
- CBCT licence, or willingness to obtain one
- Open to relocating from Sydney, or anywhere else, to the NSW Far North Coast
- A genuinely broad case mix across all ages, from everyday general care through to implants and Invisalign
- No KPIs or financial targets: how you build your day and your patient relationships is up to you
- Uncapped, performance-based commission: what you earn scales with what you bill, some of our dentists bill well into seven figures a year
- Dentist-owned, so you keep your clinical autonomy with the backing of a 12-practice network, plus mentorship from more than 70 clinicians and study clubs streamed live and recorded for playback
- Backed by a group marketing team bringing new patients through the door, so you're stepping into a modern, high-performing practice, not building one from scratch
- A relocation package to help make the move, right into a coastal life that's a short walk to the beach, Pearl Street cafes and the weekend markets. Details confirmed once we've found the right person
Company Overview
Coastal Dental Care is redefining dental care along the beautiful coastline of South East Queensland and Northern NSW. With a network of state-of-the-art clinics, Coastal Dental Care has become a trusted name for families seeking top-notch dental services. Our clinics, situated in picturesque locations across the Gold Coast and other coastal locations, offer an unparalleled blend of professional expertise and a relaxing, friendly atmosphere.
