Your Nursing Agency (YNA) is looking for an experienced Operations Manager - New South Wales based full time at our Kent Street office in Sydney CBD, to join our senior leadership team and play a key role in the continued growth of our business across NSW.

This role is responsible for leading and growing our agency business across hospital and residential aged care and our community programs which include Support at Home, Department of Veteran Affairs, National Disability Insurance Scheme, Supported Independent Living and iCare

• Strong operational leadership experience, ideally within healthcare staffing, recruitment, workforce management, rostering or another high-volume service environment

Within the FYMHS Team, the role will provide medical care and supervision of a multidisciplinary team specialising in the provision of a evidence based interventions including diagnostic assessments, targeted interventions and supporting a new lived experience and carer lived experience workforce embedded within the clinical program.

To work closely with the FYMHS Stream Leadership to provide a high level of leadership, governance and expertise to PYMHWS Custodial FYMHS. This includes oversight of the care delivered at the two 4-bed mental health units at Cherry Creek Youth Justice Facility.

To provide expert clinical leadership to the custodial clinical teams, including maintaining high clinical standards, team professional development and supervision of team registrars and other staff as needed.

Gladstone Hospital's High Dependency Unit (HDU) is a four-bed unit providing acute nursing care for patients requiring a higher level of monitoring and intervention. Operating within a Level 3 Clinical Services Capability Framework, the HDU supports patients until they are stabilised for stepdown to a general ward or prepared for transfer to a tertiary facility. The unit provides cardiac and haemodynamic monitoring, inotropic support and invasive and non-invasive ventilation, alongside external cardiac telemetry monitoring. As a Clinical Nurse within the High Dependency Unit, you will provide advanced nursing care to patients with complex and high-dependency needs while taking an active leadership role within the team. You'll use your clinical expertise to assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care, provide clinical supervision and education, and support the development of a skilled and capable nursing workforce. You'll also contribute to quality improvement, clinical audits, research and evidence-based practice, and may work as Clinical Coordinator and MET call responder when rostered.

We're looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who is confident working in complex clinical environments and ready to provide leadership, guidance and support to others. You'll bring advanced clinical assessment and problem-solving skills, strong communication and the ability to build effective relationships with colleagues, patients and families.
