Where you'll be working
SESLHD is one of the largest local health districts in Sydney, covering a geographical area of 468 square kilometres from Sydney's central business district, the beaches from Bondi to Cronulla and down to the Royal National Park. We deliver health care to around 930,000 residents across the local government areas of Woollahra, Waverley, Randwick, Bayside, Georges River and the Sutherland Shire. The Role
The Manager Aboriginal Health Outcomes will be responsible for working collaboratively with service providers across the district with the aim to reduce health inequities and address the health needs for the Aboriginal communities of SESLHD. The Manager Aboriginal Health Outcomes will support SESLHD strategic directions by providing leadership in Health Service planning, development, redesign and practice through their expertise and management of engagement, consultation, scoping and redesign, with a focus on meeting the health needs of the Aboriginal community. The Manager Aboriginal Health Outcomes will lead the continuous review, update and development of strategies, programs, policies and projects to effect service improvements in response to demand and service needs of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

What You'll Be Doing
- Delivering high-quality clinical care to critically ill patients across the Lyell McEwin ICU, managing a diverse and clinically challenging case mix

- Supporting junior medical staff through supervision, teaching, and on-the-ground clinical mentorship
- Participating in rostered on-call and after-hours coverage as part of a supportive and well-resourced ICU team
What You Bring
- Current registration with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA) with no restrictions on practice
- Fellowship or advanced training in Intensive Care Medicine (FCICM or equivalent), or demonstrable progress toward fellowship
- Proven clinical experience managing complex, critically ill adult patients in an accredited ICU setting
- Strong commitment to patient safety, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice within a SA Health public hospital environment
- Effective communication and collaboration skills suited to a high-pressure, team-based clinical environment

As per the SA Health Salaried Medical Officers Enterprise Agreement 2025, the total term of employment with SA Health will be 3 years. Rotations following the initial 12 month allocation as Medical Practitioner will be determined in line with your training and SA Health's requirements. This may include transfer to other SA Health locations to perform work appropriate to classification, skills and capabilities.
To be eligible for this position, you must have a Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration.
The Total Indicative Remuneration figure is calculated taking into account base salary, leave loading and superannuation as well as managerial allowances, professional development or any other allowances where appropriate.

This is a rare opportunity for an experienced Speech Pathologist or Occupational Therapist to step into a senior role that shapes how the next generation of clinicians learn, grow, and choose to build careers in regional health.
What You'll LeadBased within the Port Lincoln Community and Allied Health team, you will take ownership of student placement coordination and the development of a student-led clinic model across EFNLHN. Your core responsibilities will include:
- Coordinating Speech Pathology and Occupational Therapy student placements end-to-end, from pre-placement preparation through to post-placement review
- Leading implementation of the student-led clinic as part of the Office of Early Childhood Multidisciplinary Capacity Building Grant
- Providing structured training, mentoring, and clinical supervision support for both students and their supervisors
- Building and maintaining productive partnerships with universities, the Department for Education, and other key stakeholders
- Contributing to quality evaluation, research activities, and clinical education consultancy across the network
- Degree qualification in Speech Pathology or Occupational Therapy, with eligibility for full professional association membership
- Current AHPRA registration (for regulated disciplines) or active engagement in a CPD accreditation program
- Demonstrated experience in Allied Health clinical education, student supervision, or workforce development
- Proven ability to coordinate complex programs across multiple stakeholders in a health or community setting
- Understanding of regional or rural health service delivery contexts - experience within SA Health or a comparable LHN will be highly regarded
- A postgraduate qualification in health service management, clinical education, or a related specialisation is an advantage

What You'll Be LeadingBased within the Port Lincoln Community and Allied Health Service, this part-time, long-term contract role (ending 1 September 2028) positions you as the clinical expert and network connector for stroke management across inpatient and community settings. Your core focus will include:
- Providing specialist clinical leadership and consultancy to multidisciplinary teams, EFNLHN executives, and external stakeholders on stroke best-practice standards
- Coordinating integrated care pathways - from acute assessment through to discharge planning - and building TIA clinic capacity aligned with key performance indicators
- Leading quality improvement initiatives, including data collection, audit processes, and collaboration with the Australian Stroke Coalition and National Stroke Foundation toward regional stroke certification

The Kids Rehab department at The Children's Hospital at Westmead are seeking a Permanent 0.7 FTE (28 Hours per week) Staff Specialist to join their team.
What you'll be doing
Provide excellent clinical services to children and their families as part of a multi disciplinary team. The primary roles will be the AMO for children with movement disorders such as cerebral palsy and acquired injuries such as brain injuries in the Kids Rehab Services.
Participate in review and improvement activities, as well as training and education of staff.
Abide by the hospital code of conduct and participate in annual performance reviews for clinical services in accordance with the Staff Specialist (State) Award.
The Staff Specialist will ensure that;
- Clinical Services are focused on delivering excellent clinical care to children and supporting their families.
- Research and teaching is undertaken and focused on the area of Rehabilitation.
- The Staff Specialist in Rehabilitation Medicine is appointed to provide specialist medical officer involvement in the interdisciplinary care and long term follow up of children and adolescents with complex rehabilitation needs, ensuring transition to adult based services where required, following onset of disability from trauma, disease or associated with congenital conditions. Provision of specialist paediatric rehabilitation care including inpatient subacute and ambulatory (day rehab and outpatient) rehabilitation services to patients of the Children's Hospital at Westmead and highly specialised care to statewide and interstate patients as needed with neurological and musculoskeletal conditions. There is an expectation that the staff specialist will work collaboratively with other health professionals at the Children's Hospital at Westmead, within the SCHN and in the Community to facilitate access of children to specialty paediatric rehabilitation services and to improve outcomes of rehabilitation intervention for children with complex medical conditions with physical and other impairments causing functional difficulties in day to day living

Southern Adelaide Local Health Network covers the diverse population living in the southern metropolitan area of Adelaide and comprises of Flinders Medical Centre and Noarlunga hospitals.
Flinders Medical Centre (FMC) is a major referral hospital and level 1 trauma centre. It is accredited for both Emergency Medicine and Paediatric Emergency Medicine training by ACEM. The hospital is also the state's dedicated obstetric trauma centre. Our Emergency Department offers the true 'cradle to grave experience' and is the perfect place to allow for a well-rounded and well supported training experience.
The ACEM accredited Paediatric Emergency Department is co located within the main ED and is highly regarded across the state for its excellent teaching and clinical supervision provided by some of the state's best Paediatric Emergency Physicians. ACEM trainees can fulfill paediatric requirements with 3 or 6 month rotations to the PED and gain exposure to sick children throughout their general ED time.
Education and training are a key focus in our Emergency Department. We have developed EM and PEM teaching programs which are held every second Thursday, that build upon clinical learning. Simulation based learning is strongly emphasised, and we have a dedicated ED sonographer to assist with ultrasound skills development. To prepare our trainees for their future as FACEMs, we prioritise their development as leaders and decision makers. This is facilitated by a supportive and collegiate environment, flexible rostering, access to a formal mentoring program and well being initiatives such as Schwartz rounds. All trainees are entitled to a PD allowance of up to $10,000. As a result of these efforts, we have achieved high success rates in recent ACEM fellowship examinations.
We have a long standing relationship with other departments allowing for opportunities to rotate through anaesthetics and ICU to fulfil ACEM training requirements. Trainees are also encouraged to use these links to access trauma, paediatric, neonatology and statewide retrieval service rotations. Noarlunga Hospital is an outer metropolitan ED and allows trainees to complete their Non Major Referral training requirements.
With a diverse staff mix and welcoming supportive team, you'll be welcomed into the fold quickly and supported whether you move from the other side of the city or the other side of the world.
Flexible rostering is possible, including paired rosters (if moving with a friend or partner), opposing rosters (e.g. for families to allow care for children) or grouped shifts to allow a longer block of days off in a row so you make the most of your downtime.
What else is on offer?
Pay and conditions are in line with the current SA Medical Officers Enterprise Bargaining Agreement. The full contract offered to successful candidates will be of 3 years' duration, giving the trainee flexibility to continue beyond their training in our mixed adult/paediatric ED and related training rotations elsewhere in SALHN should this suit their training plans.

Bring your clinical background to a role where it shapes systems, not just individual patients. You'll apply your mental health nursing expertise to support bed management, accreditation, and risk processes - work that strengthens how care is delivered across Mental Health.
About the role:
Reporting to theNursing Director, this role is integral to connecting clinical teams, bed management, and patient journey oversight to support safe, timely care across the organisation.
Duties for the role will include:
- Coordinating real-time patient flow across inpatient units, emergency pathways, and discharge processes to optimise bed utilisation.
- Collaborating with nursing, medical, and allied health teams to identify and resolve capacity or access barriers.
- Monitoring patient/client care plans to ensure appropriate care outcomes are achieved on a daily basis.
- Monitoring and escalating emerging flow issues through established SALHN protocols and communication frameworks.
- Supporting accurate data capture and reporting to inform operational decision-making at ward and executive level.
About you:
- Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia and who holds a current practicing certificate.
- Must be enrolled in an approved mental health course or hold a qualification in mental health practice.
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with at least 3 years, full time equivalent, post registration experience.
- Demonstrated competence in Mental Health nursing practice in accordance with the relevant standards
- Experience in the leadership and direction of student nurses, enrolled nurses and less experienced registered nurses.
- Effective communication, problem solving, conflict resolution and negotiation skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and meet set timelines, whilst working under minimal supervision.
