About the Role:
Mental health nursing in the community is some of the most meaningful and complex work in the sector. If you're a Registered Nurse or Clinical Nurse with a commitment to recovery-oriented care, the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) has multiple ongoing opportunities for you to make a genuine difference across its Acute and Assertive Community Mental Health Teams in Salisbury.
Your Role in the Team
Working within the NALHN Mental Health Service – Adult Service based at Salisbury - you will provide skilled clinical assessment, short-term intervention, and assertive follow-up to adults experiencing acute mental illness in the northern Adelaide community. Key responsibilities include:
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and developing evidence-based care plans in collaboration with consumers and their support networks
- Delivering assertive outreach and home-based care to consumers with complex or high-acuity presentations
- Coordinating care across multidisciplinary teams, GPs, and community services to support safe transitions and continuity of care
- Contributing to risk assessment, safety planning, and timely clinical documentation within SA Health frameworks
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in mental health nursing, including acute or community-based settings
- Sound knowledge of the Mental Health Act 2009 (SA) and recovery-oriented practice principles
- Confidence conducting independent clinical assessments and managing risk in a community environment
- Sound communication skills across multidisciplinary and consumer-facing contexts
- Compassionate, trauma informed approach to consumer care
- Current, unrestricted South Australian driver's licence suitable for community outreach work
To be eligible for this position, you must be:
- Registered as a Nurse by the Nursing/Midwifery Board of Australia (NMBA) and who holds a current practicing certificate.
- Must be enrolled in an approved Mental Health course or holds a qualification in mental health practice.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Rehabilitation Consultant, you will contribute to the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred rehabilitation care across the Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN). Working within a collaborative multidisciplinary team at Modbury Hospital, your responsibilities will include:
- Assessing, planning, and coordinating individualised rehabilitation programs for patients with complex needs

About the Role:

- Inpatient Geriatrics: two wards at Modbury Hospital

- Northern Reablement and Intermediate Care to Return Home (NRICH): located adjacent to Lyell McEwin Hospital

What You Will Bring
- Demonstrated clinical experience in dysphagia assessment and management, including videofluoroscopy or FEES where applicable
- Experience working with aged care or rehabilitation patient populations

About the role
Lead and deliver palliative care education, training and learning initiatives for nursing, midwifery and multidisciplinary teams. Drive practice improvement, support policy alignment, coordinate projects and contribute to safe, positive care outcomes.
Key duties of the role
- Provide expert paediatric palliative care and clinical guidance, using evidence and experience to support decision making
- Lead education and professional development, evaluate outcomes, and ensure clinical documentation meets organisational standards.
- Coordinate and provide leadership to projects, programs and/or research to achieve improved educational outcomes and/or service delivery.

Skills and Experience

About the role:

- Bachelor of Medicine; Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) or equivalent, registrable with the Medical Board of Australia as a Medical Practitioner with General Registration,

- Current registration as a Medical Practitioner with the Medical Board of Australia (AHPRA),
- Current practising certificate, valid in South Australia,
- Possess flexible and non-judgemental attitudes, which enables working with difficult and complex clients,

About the Role:
The Northern Adelaide Local Health Network is seeking an Occupational Therapist to join The Gully, Northeast Clinical Psychosocial Rehabilitation Program team.
The Gully is a recovery focused rehabilitation program for people aged 18 to 65 years who have a lived experience of mental illness. The program provides clients an opportunity to work towards recovery goals through group work and individual sessions. The program’s occupational focus aims to facilitate change and support engagement in activities of daily living, work, social participation and interests.
The Gully coordinates the NECMHS OT Clinic. This service offers occupational therapy assessments and includes an intervention plan and recommendations based on the consumer’s occupational goals.
These services operate in the Northeast at Modbury.
Your Role in the Program
Working part time on an ongoing basis, you will deliver specialist occupational therapy assessment and intervention within a psychosocial rehabilitation framework, while contributing to the broader clinical direction of the team.
- Conduct comprehensive functional and occupational assessments for adults with complex mental health needs
- Design and implement individualised, recovery-focused intervention plans in collaboration with consumers, carers, and the multidisciplinary team
- Provide clinical supervision, mentoring, and professional leadership to junior OT staff and students
- Contribute to leadership, clinical overview, program development, quality improvement, and outcome measurement across The Gully North East service
What You Bring
- Substantial post-graduate experience in mental health, with a demonstrated understanding of psychosocial rehabilitation principles
- Leadership experience and values prioritising psychological safety of staff
- Proven ability to apply a recovery-oriented, trauma-informed approach within a community or outpatient mental health setting
- Experience providing clinical supervision or formal mentoring to less experienced clinicians
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to engage meaningfully with consumers, families, and inter-agency partners
- Familiarity with SA Health policy frameworks and the Mental Health Act 2009 (SA) is highly regarded

About the role
As an Assistant in Midwifery, you will work alongside Midwives and/or Registered Nurses to provide safe, compassionate care to women, babies and families throughout their maternity journey. You'll support clinical and non-clinical care activities, contribute to a positive patient experience, and play an important role within a dedicated multidisciplinary healthcare team.
Key duties of the role

What You'll Be Doing
As an Anaesthesia Service Registrar at Lyell McEwin Health Service Hospital or HDU/Anaesthesia Service Registrar at Modbury Hospital, you'll work across a broad surgical caseload and high-dependency care within a consultant-led team. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering safe, evidence-based anaesthesia across elective and emergency lists
- Contributing to HDU patient management, including complex post-operative and critically unwell patients
- Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to optimise perioperative and acute care outcomes
- Participating in after-hours on-call rostering as required by the department
What You'll Bring
- Eligibility for provisional or vocational anaesthesia training, or equivalent postgraduate anaesthesia experience

- Experience in or readiness to manage HDU-level patients

About the role
As an Assistant in Nursing, you'll work within a multidisciplinary team, supporting nurses in delivering safe, compassionate, family-centred care to patients. This rewarding role offers the opportunity to contribute to positive health outcomes while gaining valuable experience in a supportive environment.
Key duties of the role
- Assist nurses in routine tasks with patients/clients associated with the activities of daily living.
- Set up for nursing procedures, clean equipment, and manage local stock levels.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a physically and culturally safe environment for patients/clients and staff.
- Follow established guidelines, protocols, procedure, standards, and systems.
- Provide person centred care.
Skills and Experience
- Be enrolled as a student in an undergraduate program in nursing (2nd year or above).
- Experience, within the boundaries of your education and skill preparation, in the provision of nursing/midwifery care in the healthcare setting.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Understanding the role of the Assistant in Midwifery within the healthcare setting.

About the Role:
We are looking for a Senior Occupational Therapist to work in our multidisciplinary Spasticity Clinic based in the Specialist Ambulatory and Rehabilitation Centre (SpARC) at Modbury. The clinic operates for a full day once per fortnight on a Friday, and you will be part of a dynamic, growing and supportive team.
The Northern Adelaide Rehabilitation Service (NARS) Spasticity Clinic offers a genuinely specialised practice environment. If you bring strong neurorehabilitation expertise and want to shape meaningful outcomes for people living with spasticity, this is a role with real clinical depth.
Your Role in Rehabilitation
Working within the multidisciplinary NARS Spasticity Clinic, you will deliver expert occupational therapy assessment and intervention for patients with upper and lower limb spasticity across a range of neurological conditions. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive OT assessments and developing goal-directed treatment plans for patients attending the Spasticity Clinic
- Collaborating closely with medical, nursing, and allied health colleagues to coordinate Botulinum Toxin injection programs and post-injection therapy
- Providing clinical supervision and professional support to Allied Health Assistants within the team
- Contributing to service development, quality improvement, and evidence-based practice initiatives within NARS
What You Bring
- Demonstrated experience in neurological or rehabilitation OT, with exposure to spasticity management highly regarded
- Sound knowledge of upper limb splinting, functional goal-setting, and assistive technology relevant to spasticity presentations
- Proven ability to work autonomously and exercise senior-level clinical judgement
- Experience providing supervision or mentorship within an allied health team
- Familiarity with SA Health clinical frameworks and the public health system is an advantage
To be eligible for this position, you must have an appropriate Degree or equivalent qualification which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
