About the Role
Lead MRI services at SA Medical Imaging Berri and Riverland General Hospital, shaping professional standards, priorities and service delivery. You'll bring expert judgement and a strong focus on safe, high quality imaging.
With minimal direction and high professional autonomy, you'll lead the MRI team, coordinate workflow and champion best practice. Use your expertise to support patients, colleagues and the ongoing growth of MRI services.
About You
You'll bring advanced MRI expertise, confident leadership and a commitment to safe, patient focused imaging. We're looking for:
- Degree or equivalent qualification with MRPBA registration
- Level 1 MRI Accreditation through AIR or ASMIRT
- Proven MRI expertise across standard and complex examinations
- Strong leadership, workflow and professional direction skills

The Clinic has 2 Varian linear accelerators, Canon CT simulator, Eclipse planning system and a Gulmay superficial x-ray unit. Radiation Therapy techniques currently in use at the WP Holman Clinic include IGRT, VMAT, DIBH, SBRT & SRT.
The Holman Clinic is part of the Cancer and Blood Services stream at the Royal Hobart Hospital, which provides an integrated radiation therapy, medical oncology and haematological service to Southern Tasmania.
The RoleThe Supervisor Radiation Therapist will supervise the professional and technical standards and operation of either the radiation therapy treatment or planning areas.
They will provide leadership and guidance to Radiation Therapists delivering treatment and planning, ensuring high levels of patient care and staff engagement.
You will need to- Direct and coordinate the workload in either the treatment or planning areas. Ensure the safe, effective and efficient operation of either the radiation therapy planning area or treatment area.
- Actively participate in the delivery and planning of clinical radiation therapy.
- Direct quality assurance procedures in the treatment and planning areas. Identify areas for quality improvement and in liaison with the Deputy/Chief Radiation Therapist, participate in formulation, development and implementation of new techniques and protocols.
