About the role:
Frontline Support Services is looking for an experienced researcher who enjoys investigating complex organisational issues and producing evidence that supports practical reform to join the Innovation stream of the project.
The Frontline Support Services (FSS) project is an initiative that realigns defined administrative, procedural and preparatory tasks from frontline police to a dedicated support workforce of Frontline Support Officers (FSOs). FSS operates as a division of Continuous Improvement, Uplift, and Technology, and its ultimate mission is to return capacity to frontline members for patrol, response, visible policing and active investigation.
The project has established the FSS operating model, recruited and deployed a growing workforce of FSOs, and introduced comprehensive monitoring to determine whether the anticipated benefits of the initiative are being realised. The Innovation stream is responsible for the continuous improvement of the FSS model, guiding it from establishment through to maturity and expansion, and identifying further opportunities to improve frontline service delivery.
The Senior Research Officer will design and deliver a program of applied research and evaluation to inform the future development of FSS. The role will investigate emerging service models, assess the effectiveness and impact of existing initiatives, establish the evidence base for new opportunities, and translate complex findings into clear advice for senior decision-makers. The role will draw on advanced qualitative and quantitative research methods and work across operational policing, organisational design, workforce reform, and continuous improvement.

THE ROLEThe Child Protection Team Manager is responsible for effective service delivery, managing resources and budget, cases awaiting allocation and small teams of practitioners. The Team Manager has the formal delegation to endorse and review case plans to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people and to promote the achievement of case plan objectives within specified timeframes. The Casey Adult Mental Health Service (Casey AMHS) provides individualised, consumer centred care for adults aged 18 - 65 years living in the City of Casey and the Shire of Cardinia, aiming to improve mental health and wellbeing, Casey AMHS comprises the entire spectrum of care with Emergency Psychiatric Services, Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team, PACER, Hospital in the Home team, Inpatient Psychiatric Units (Ward D mental health and E) based at Casey Hospital, CCT based at Pakenham and Cranbourne, Acute and Extended PARCS, State-wide Transition Support Unit and the Adult Mental Health and Intellectual Disability Initiative.
Teams at the Casey AMHS are multidisciplinary in nature. The consultant psychiatrist will provide medical leadership at the team level and support & assist the Unit Director, Casey AMHS in the provision of high-quality psychiatry services, consistent with the Monash Health values.

To support and assist the Head of Unit, Casey AMHS, Mental Health Program, Monash Health in the provision of high-quality psychiatry services, consistent with Monash Health values.

- Be available to medical colleagues for consultation and liaison as appropriate regarding patient care

Provides quality, comprehensive in-patient and/or out-patient (as per individual employment agreements) primary health care services to the Center's patients. Reports directly to the Director of OB/GYN regarding clinical issues and activities related to the delivery of medical care.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Examines, diagnoses, treats and/or refers patients assigned to physician's panel, on an in-patient and/or out-patient basis (as per individual employment agreements); prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to assess medical conditions.
2. Maintains the electronic medical record for each patient seen in accordance with the Center's established Health Information Management policies and procedures to include providing appropriate documentation. Completes thorough documentation of each patient's visit in the electronic health record and ensures encounters are closed within 24 hours in accordance with the Center's established Health Information Management policies and procedures.
3. Assures continuity of care by providing comprehensive medical services on a timely basis as per Clinic schedule within the Center's scope of practice and the provider's training.
4. Refers clients for appropriate specialty care services, lab and x-ray and any other ancillary services that are appropriate for the patient's management and care.
5. Reviews all lab and x-ray reports for patients under his/her care on a timely basis and makes medical management decisions appropriately.
6. Maintains appropriate productivity standards of specialty as established by the Center; maintains appropriate and efficient patient flow and minimizes schedule changes and absences.
7. Provides excellent internal/external customer service via telephone, fax or face-to-face contact to assist patients with their health care needs.
8. Trains, mentors and supervises students and clinical support staff, as appropriate.
9. Takes call after hours and on weekends on a rotation basis with other providers and responds appropriately and on a timely manner to after hour calls when applicable (as per individual employment agreements).
10. Follows established departmental and clinic policies, procedures, and objectives; continuous quality improvements objectives and safety, environmental, and/or infection control standards.
11. Participates in specified health promotion, education and/or prevention programs as needed i.e. diabetes collaborative/health fairs etc.; attends and participates in clinic meetings / departmental meetings and other clinic functions as required by the Center.
12. Reviews patient satisfaction survey of your clinical staff to check for trends of any unfavorable quality practice or issue and recommend corrective action; assure that patient satisfaction surveys are at 94% or above for each medical provider. Provides excellent internal/external customer service via telephone, fax or face-to-face contact to assist patients with their health care needs
13. Responsible for assuring each assigned medical provider is functioning at 100% productivity, providing excellent clinical outcomes and completing assigned chart audits (Peer Record Review) in a timely manner.
14. Performs other related duties as assigned.

M.D. or D.O. degree from an accredited Medical School

ExperienceTo join our community and thrive in this role, you will likely have the following skills and experience:
- Demonstrated high-level experience working in the mental health sector supporting individuals with mental health conditions
- Experience in providing intake and assessment, including triage using appropriate risk assessment tools
- Demonstrated crisis intervention skills and knowledge
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to demonstrate empathy and communicate effectively with distressed individuals and those from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Strong skills in prioritizing work in a pressured environment
- Eligibility to register with the Psychology Board of Australia through The Australian Health Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and/or the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW) or recognised specialist qualifications in Mental Health Nursing is also required.

TLC Healthcare is currently seeking a motivated and compassionate General Practice Nurse to join our growing general practice team in Whittlesea on a full-time basis.
Working closely with GPs, the Practice Manager, and a multidisciplinary team, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, patient-centred care and supporting improved health outcomes for our community.
We welcome applications from both Registered Nurses and Enrolled Nurses with experience in a general practice or primary healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide safe, evidence-based nursing care in a general practice setting
- Conduct patient assessments, care planning, and follow-up
- Support health promotion, chronic disease management, and preventive care
- Assist with recalls, reminders, and care coordination
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and patient records
- Work collaboratively with GPs and allied health professionals
- Contribute to quality improvement and accreditation activities
About You
To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate:
- Previous experience working within a General Practice, Primary Care, or Medical Practice setting
- Strong knowledge of infection prevention and control, clinical governance, and patient-centred care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and colleagues
- The ability to work autonomously while contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Qualifications & Requirements
- Relevant nursing qualification
- Current AHPRA registration
- Nurse Immuniser qualification (or willingness to complete training)
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (minimum 3 doses)
- 2026 Influenza vaccination
