You'll be supported by a passionate and experienced team that enjoys learning together and delivering high standards of patient and client care.
About the RoleThis is a full time, hands on leadership position and would best suit a Veterinary Nurse who enjoys balancing people leadership, clinic operations, nursing duties, and client care.
As Practice Manager, you will be responsible for creating the conditions that allow your team to succeed.
You'll work closely with the Veterinary Director, nurses, reception team, and regional leadership team to ensure the clinic runs smoothly while maintaining a positive and engaged culture.
Your role will include:
- Leading, coaching, and developing clinic team members

As a hands on leader, you'll remain actively involved in the clinic's daily operations. Alongside your management responsibilities, the role will include regular veterinary nursing and reception shifts, supporting the team during busy periods, annual leave, and day to day clinic operations.
About YouYou'll be someone who enjoys helping others succeed and leads by example.
We're looking for someone who:
- Holds a Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Has previous experience as a Practice Manager, Head Nurse, Senior Veterinary Nurse, or similar leadership role
- Is confident supporting reception, nursing, and operational functions of the clinic
- Has strong leadership and people development skills
- Enjoys coaching, mentoring, and supporting team members
- Has excellent communication and relationship building skills
- Demonstrates strong organisational and business management capabilities
- Can balance empathy with accountability
- Is proactive, solutions focused, and adaptable
- Is passionate about creating a positive workplace culture and exceptional client experience
Most importantly, you're someone who enjoys being part of the team, isn't afraid to jump in and help wherever needed, and understands that great clinic culture starts with strong leadership.
