Injury Active Clinic Melbourne
If you're an osteo who wants to see the whole journey - from someone wincing on the table to training pain free weeks or months later - not just the ten-minute slot before the next patient, keep reading.
WHO WE AREInjury Active Clinic isn't your typical clinic.
We're one integrated team, with allied health and a rehabilitation gym under one roof, based across Ravenhall (our flagship) and Altona, inside Movement Culture.
We're not into outdated "rest it and see" advice, scary scan reports, or telling people their joints are "bone on bone."
We find the actual cause, treat it properly, and build the strength that keeps it from coming back, using real evidence, objective strength testing, and a rehab gym on site - not a photocopied exercise sheet and a "good luck."
If a patient can walk straight from treatment into structured strength training in the same building, on the same day, that's how it should work everywhere.
That's how we work.
We're a young, driven team who actually train ourselves, invest properly in professional development, and treat this like a craft worth getting better at, not just a job.
THE ROLEWe're after an AHPRA-registered osteopath to join us in a blended role across Altona and Ravenhall.
Altona is a newer clinic for us, and this role is genuinely about building it, not just filling a diary.
You'll be treating patients, but you'll also be out there getting to know the trainers and members at Movement Culture, building relationships with local GPs, and becoming a familiar face in the area.
Ravenhall is our flagship hub.
You'll be carrying out gym medicals and seeing patients for injury management.
WHAT WE'RE AFTER- Current AHPRA registration
- Bachelor's degree in osteopathy/physiotherapy
- Someone who's genuinely up for meeting people and building relationships, not just clinical skill - this role needs both
- A team player - we work as one crew, not separate practitioners sharing a roof
- Graduates and experienced osteos are both welcome - fit matters more than years in
- Excellent base salary with tiered progressions
- A role that grows, not one that stays flat
- A team that actually backs each other
- On-site gym access and our integrated treatment model
- Flexible full-time or part time hours
If you're excited about bridging the gap between rehab and performance, we'd love to hear from you.

I did the ED SRMO shift (evening). While this is advertised as a private hospital ED locum, it is actually a public hospital run by a private company. The work is similar to what you would do in a public ED - walk ins and ambulance arrivals.I was given a thorough orientation on my first shift which included the layout of the ED, the use of the computer system and the admissions process. This hospital is a major trauma bypass and it does not take sectioned mental health patients. The ED is small but decently busy. There are 2 Reuss bays, about 7 acute beds and a fast track section. Decent amount of senior support (a senior CMO, mainly senior ED registrars doing locum shifts). There is a consultant on the day shift, and decent crossover time between shifts.Being able to work semi independently and workup common ED presentations on your own is a must. All radiology is reported externally and reports are faxed through quickly. There is not 24/7 pathology or radiology. This locum would suit SRMOs with lots of ED/crit care experience or junior registrars
