What you'll be doing- Independently coordinate clinical trials from start up through close out, ensuring all activities meet protocol requirements, HREC and governance approvals, GCP, and relevant regulatory guidelines (e.g., NHMRC, TGA).

Mater Private Hospital Bundaberg is seeking an experienced CSSD Technician to join our team. We have both a Casual and apermanent part-time position, contracted to 16 hours per week. Our CSSD department operates Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend shifts available. Operating hours range from 6:30am to 8:30pm.In this role you will provide an efficient and effective preparation and sterilisation service by utilising a high standard of skills and procedures by industry and hospital guidelines. You also will assist the perioperative clinical team in delivering clinical care under the direction and supervision of the Registered and Enrolled Nurses when necessary.
Our Perioperative Department features three operating theatres and one procedure room, where we perform over 4,400 procedures annually. We specialise in a wide range of surgical services including gynaecology, general surgery, orthopaedics, reconstructive plastics, urology, ophthalmology, respiratory procedures, and more. About youTo be successful in this role, you will demonstrate the following criteria:
- A demonstrated understanding of infection control principles.
- Basic computer skills
- A background working in a clinical / health care background

- Certificate III in Sterilisation Services, or the ability to provide evidence of working towards attainment within the first six months.
- Previous experience in a CSSD role with the ability to work in all areas with a high degree of autonomy and accountability.
