The role provides evidence-based assessment, care planning, intervention, and discharge support for community clients. The Opportunity
We are looking for aRegional Team Leadto provide localised support to our Hunter Speech Pathology & Dietetics team. You will balance maintaining your own caseload along with supporting three new Grads and circa five experienced clincians (this varies as we grow and with parental leave). As a community- based role, we predominantly see our clients either in their homes, group homes, aged care facilities or in a public setting that's relevant for them eg in a cafe to test out some new AAC. We want to see our clients where they are most comfortable whilst also giving you a diverse role full of variety and learning opportunities. Some of our team schedule a full day of seeing clients one day, then balance this with a work from home day or an office day to write reports, prepare resources, have supervision / training. Or you can mix things up depending how you like to work. A community role is great as it allows you to have genuine flexibility and control over how you structure your days and therefore you don't miss your afternoon sport or being able to drop the kids to school in the mornings / pick them up in the afternoons! Logistically, we have a waterfront office inTorontowith convenient free parking and the role can be structured asfull-timeorpart-time. Depending where you are based, we can tailor your caseload to service clients around Maitland, Newcastle or Lake Macquarie. You will have someone assigned to you in admin to assist with scheduling appointments and they will work with you to ensure you aren't zigzagging around the Hunter and you'll have clients to see close to home.
Your day to day
The caseload is people over 16yrs of age, and includes those with a range of disabilities (e.g. intellectual disability, Autism, Down Syndrome), neurological events (e.g. stroke, acquired brain injury, brain tumour), and degenerative disease (e.g. Parkinson's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Huntington's Disease, dementia). You will have the opportunity to provide assessment, therapy and management to clients with a range of speech pathology diagnosis including: non-verbal, dysphagia, dyspraxia, aphasia, pragmatics, voice clients. Within this role you will have the fantastic opportunity to work primarily in client's homes, group homes and where appropriate in our clinics. - Undertakes supervisory responsibilities with a psychiatric registrar and other medical staff as required and appropriate.
- Actively pursues improved outcomes for patients by participating in teaching and research relevant to psychiatry.
- Maintain a strong working relation with the Mental Health Tribunal with a particular focus on ensuring adherence to the relevant provisions of the 2013 Tasmanian Mental Health Act specific to individuals with dual disability
- Act as a consultant for and provide clinical leadership to other staff within the Mental Health and Intellectual Disability Service.
- Provide a dual disability focussed consultation and liaison service to the wider mental health service and sector as required.

Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $309,222 - $319,701 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award
In addition, the following allowances and benefit, calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available:
- Provision ofa fully maintained private plated motor vehicle or motor vehicle allowance of $28,786 per annum.
- Subject to approval from the Private Patient Scheme Committee (PPS), 35% of base salary plus on-call, pro rata) of additional payment will be paid from (PPS). If not admitted to the PPS, a 35% in lieu of PPS of base salary will be paid.

About the Opportunity
We are seeking a part-time Clinical Educator and Practice Support Nurse to oversee the clinical practice across Interaction's Accommodation and Community Services portfolio, ensuring compliance with NDIS Practice Standards and high-intensity support requirements.
This role ensures Support Workers develop and maintain competency in medication management, epilepsy management and other clinical support requirements, while also supporting participants with complex health needs and NDIS High Intensity Daily Personal Activities. It contributes to safe, person centred service delivery through clinical assessment, training, competency assessments, clinical governance and continuous quality improvement.
Working collaboratively with participants, families, support workers, Allied Health professionals and healthcare providers, this role ensures clinical practices align with NDIS practice standards, organisational policies and best practice care principles.
To be successful you will have:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A minimum 5 years post-registration clinical experience.
- Experience supporting people with disability and complex health needs.
- Experience delivering clinical education, competency assessments and workforce development programs.
- Sound knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards and High Intensity Daily Personal Activities.
- Experience in medication management and clinical governance.

An opportunity exists for a grade 2 Occupational Therapist in the Victorian Paediatric Rehabilitation Service, Goulburn Valley (VPRS-GV). VPRS is specialist assessment and treatment service for children and adolescents who, as a result of injury, medical/surgical event or functional impairment, will benefit from a program of time-limited, goal-focused, multidisciplinary rehabilitation.
This is a 12 month, part time 0.6 EFT parental leave position. Applicants should have relevant paediatric experience and a strong understanding of a) occupational therapy practice in sub-acute and community settings, and b) family centred service within a rural health setting.

The Community Mental Health Enrolled Nurse is a Level 3 Mental Health Enrolled Nurse role which has a level of autonomy in the Community Mental Health setting. The Enrolled Nurse (PEN3) practices at an independent level within community mental health teams and works under the direction of professional staff through direct or indirect registered nurse supervision.
They are responsible for professional activities which support service delivery and the professional development of self and others. It is expected they demonstrate PEN 3 advanced competencies, within the standards as set out by the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement. The PEN3 works closely with consumers and their families (or supporters) to achieve positive outcomes for consumers who are receiving care for mental health and wellbeing conditions.
Key responsibilities:
As a professional, the PEN3 is accountable for:
- The maintenance of their own clinical knowledge, further education and always working within the confines of their specific scope of practice, in accordance with the boundaries set by their experience and skill.
- Ensuring that they are registered to work as an Enrolled Nurse in Australia at all times whilst working as a nurse within Western Health and practice in alignment with NMBA Enrolled Nurse standards.
They are responsible for professional activities which support service delivery and the professional development of self and others. It is expected they demonstrate PEN 3 advanced competencies, within the standards as set out by the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement. The Team:
THS Pathology -LGH provides Pathology services to Launceston General Hospital and the Northern regions of Tasmania. We are the only public pathology service operating in North Tasmania. Our service aims to deliver a high-quality service to general practitioners, medical specialists and private hospitals, providing patients with no out of pocket expenses for Medicare eligible tests. The team at THS Pathology -LGH comprises a large team involving multi-disciplinary scientists, technicians, non-technical staff and Pathologists.
The Role:
This role will support the Staff Specialist Microbiologist by providing clinical and diagnostic advice to Pathology and the ID physician team within the Infectious Diseases Department at LGH. The position will also provide leave coverage for the Staff Specialist Microbiologist during periods of absence.
You will need:
- Experience in management of the clinical microbiology service including bench-level advice
- Experience in communication of critical microbiology results to the treating teams
- To be prepared for regular interaction with the hospital's infectious diseases service and the infection control unit
- Teaching and research skills
- Good understanding of laboratory safety

What You'll Be Doing
Embedded within the Lyell McEwin Health Service, you'll be the administrative backbone of a busy ward - keeping patient flow moving and supporting the clinical team so they can focus on care. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing patient admissions, transfers, and discharges accurately within the hospital's electronic systems
- Coordinating medical records, correspondence, and ward documentation to meet compliance standards
- Greeting patients, families, and visitors with care and professionalism, directing enquiries appropriately
- Supporting ward staff with scheduling, clerical tasks, and real-time communication across the unit
What You'll Bring
- Demonstrated experience in a clerical or administrative role, ideally within a health or community services setting
- Confident data entry and records management skills with strong attention to accuracy
- Clear, professional communication - both written and face-to-face - across diverse patient groups
- Ability to prioritise competing tasks in a high-volume, time-sensitive environment
- Familiarity with SA Health systems or hospital patient administration software is highly regarded
- Current or ability to obtain a satisfactory Department for Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check

About the rolePerforming high-quality diagnostic imaging for the purpose of clinical diagnosis using complex clinical procedures. This position requires the diagnostic radiographer to specialise in at least one modality for the purpose of providing education, leadership and clinical expertise in the noted modality. Perform high-quality diagnostic images utilising diagnostic imaging equipment for complex clinical procedures to achieve the best diagnostic result for the patient.

About the role
The Nursing Unit Manager is responsible for the efficient management of nursing and other relevant staff under their delegation and coordination of the provision of nursing care. The Nursing Unit Manager leads nursing staff, ensures effective liaison between all health professionals and is responsible for the environmental and work, health and safety management of the unit.
Clinician engagement and leadership has been a prominent feature of the public health system for a number of years, where clinician led clinical standards, safety and quality improvements have become a major focus. The Local Health District (LHD) is committed to the strengthening and ongoing involvement and clinician engagement of staff that provide direct patient care in the planning, delivery, improvement and evaluation of health services.
