What you will be doing:
- Deliver a high standard of advanced surgery across small animal clinics
- Perform complex soft tissue procedures and orthopaedics, including TPLOs
- Utilise advanced imaging through VicVet to support surgical planningContribute to building a consistent, high quality surgical pathway across the network
- Provide practical training and support to veterinarians in clinic settings
- Work across multiple sites, supporting teams with different needs and capabilities
You will regularly step into different clinic environments, while maintaining a strong clinical base at VicVet.
About you:
You are an experienced small animal veterinarian with strong surgical skills and confidence in managing complex cases.
You will bring:
- Extensive experience in advanced soft tissue surgery
- Orthopaedic capability including TPLOs
- Confidence working independently at a high clinical level
- A genuine interest in teaching and supporting other veterinarians
- A collaborative and adaptable approach across different teams
- Willingness to travel as part of a national role
Experience with advanced imaging, particularly CT, will be highly regarded.
This role will suit someone who enjoys autonomy, variety, and making a visible impact across both patient care and the development of others.
What we offer:
- Salary $180,000 to $250,000/annum plus Super depending on qualifications, experience and skill set
- Travel and accommodation fully covered while visiting other Apiam clinics
- Strong clinical base at VicVet with access to advanced imaging including CT
- A high level surgical caseload through a central referral model and national clinic visits
