Abby Health is Australia's busiest online clinic, built for the future of primary care.
Founded in 2023, Abby was established to address one of the most urgent issues in Australian healthcare: access. With one in three Australians now without a regular GP, we're reimagining how people access everyday care-without losing what makes care personal: long-term relationships and detailed patient histories.
We connect patients to licensed GPs and nurse practitioners through same-day, online first care-delivering high-quality treatment for everyday issues, from headaches to herpes, coughs to cramps, and everything in between. Behind the scenes, we use structured patient histories, smart intake tools, and streamlined workflows to make every consult feel more like self-care.
Our approach is guided by three core values:
- Smart - Intelligent systems that surface what matters, when it matters
- Beautiful - A thoughtful, intuitive experience for patients and clinicians alike
- Caring - Human support, continuity of care, and relationships that last
We believe the future of primary care is affordable, same-day, and online first. A system where most care is delivered remotely-supported by pre-diagnosis tools, wearables, alerts, and proactive follow-up. In-person visits become the exception, not the default. It's a smarter, safer, more efficient model-one that finally puts patients first.
And it's already happening.
Since launching, Abby has become one of the most trusted names in digital healthcare in Australia. We're used by hundreds of thousands of Australians, with a 4.7/5 average rating on Google and Trustpilot.
We're quality-first and purpose-driven. Whether you're a patient looking for better answers or a clinician looking for a better way to practise-Abby is here to make care better, for everyone.
Smart. Beautiful. Caring. That's the future we're building-for Australian primary care, and the people who rely on it.
About the roleFully remote Telehealth consulting are available across Australia, seven days a week from 5:30am to 11:30pm.
We offer- A transparent and competitive remuneration model with no lock in contracts and 70% of billings directly to you.
- A strong focus on patient safety and quality of care
- Practice operations aligned with Medicare Benefits Schedule (MBS) requirements
- A workplace consistent with Medical Defence Organisation (MDO) standards and professional indemnity obligations
- Support for practitioner autonomy with adaptable models of care and work-life balance
- A robust clinical governance framework to ensure evidence-based, patient-centred practice
- CPD programme to streamline professional development, continuous learning and collaboration between colleagues
Abby Health was founded by experienced clinicians who understand the challenges of balancing high-quality patient care with work-life balance. Our Telehealth platform is designed to give doctors more control over their schedule and patient load, allowing them to focus on medicine rather than administrative burdens. All practitioners on Abby Health are fully licensed, Australian-based General Practitioners (GPs) with years of experience. They are trained in Telehealth and follow strict medical guidelines to ensure high-quality, evidence-based care. All of our patients receive the same level of medical expertise as they would in a traditional clinic.
How will you make an impactAt Abby Health, we care for a diverse range of patients, from young professionals managing their health on the go to rural Australians who struggle to access in-person care. Many of our patients don't have a regular GP, so they rely on Abby for trusted, ongoing support. Our team of clinicians have seen over 170,000 patients through over 500,000 consults in the past 12 months. Our clinicians diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions, from general health concerns and chronic conditions to mental health and sexual health care. From new diagnosis to prescription, pathology request, specialist referral, or preventative care, we ensure they get the right treatment without unnecessary barriers.
Applicants must meet the following requirements- AHPRA registration as a medical practitioner
- Fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP), the Australian College of Remote & Rural Medicine (ACRRM), or an equivalent specialist qualification
A professional and ethical approach to patient care in Australia is guided by nationally recognised standards and codes developed by regulatory bodies such as the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) and individual National Boards (e.g., Medical Board of Australia). These standards ensure clinicians deliver safe, respectful, and culturally competent care that prioritises patient well-being.
What is required to join Abby Health- Digital Fluency

- Work from home set up
- A quiet, private workspace is required for Telehealth consultations. Clinicians must have high-speed internet, a webcam, and a microphone to ensure clear communication.

Everlab's clinical team is on a mission to build the world's most trusted preventive health company. The Clinical Operations Manager is in charge of answering a single question - how good is our clinical delivery right now, and how do we make it measurably better every week?
You'll run the performance loop end to end. Build the metrics that show the truth, find where quality is leaking, and drive the interventions that close the gap. Part analyst, part operator, part coach.
We're looking for someone with 3+ years at a top-tier strategy consultancy or equivalent, who is genuinely analytics-minded and comfortable operating without a brief.
This is a full-time hybrid role based in Sydney. Our team works from the office three days per week.
Responsibilities and Scope- Own the performance of our doctor network end to end, including consult quality, clinical outcomes, appropriateness of recommendations, and the member experience inside every consult.
- Build the machinery that makes clinical excellence repeatable: rubrics, benchmarks, spotlights, and playbooks drawn from our best consults.
- Partner with the CMO, Clinical People Lead and clinical leadership to drive excellent clinical outcomes and member experience.
- Map how clinical work actually flows today across consults, results review, member follow-up, escalations and admin, and find where time and quality are leaking.
- Redesign the workflows that don't hold up: remove steps, automate what can be automated, and clearly document what remains.
- Partner with Product and Engineering to translate workflow problems into tooling improvements, with a clear-eyed view of impact versus effort.
- Run change properly. Pilot with a small group, measure the effect, then roll out with the training and communication that makes it stick.
- Build and own the metric layer for clinical operations: consult quality, clinical outcomes, utilisation, turnaround times, NPS, and cost to serve.
- Define what good looks like by setting targets, thresholds and traffic lights, and hold the team to them.
- Build the dashboards and reporting rhythms that give clinical leadership a clear read on performance every week, without anyone having to ask for it.
- Turn analysis into decisions. Every metric should have an owner, a target, and an obvious next action attached to it.
- Background: 3+ years at a top-tier strategy consultancy (McKinsey, Bain, BCG) or equivalent, with a track record of strong performance and rapid progression.
- Proactive: You spot the problem, scope it, and bring a recommendation. You don't wait for a brief.
- Analytical: You're comfortable with data and spreadsheets, you structure ambiguous problems cleanly, and you build arguments from data rather than instinct.
- Bias for action: You're comfortable with ambiguity. This is a build role in a fast-moving company, not a reporting role in a mature one.
- Communication: Clear and direct in writing and in person. You can compress a complex analysis into a one-page recommendation a busy clinician will actually read.
- Range: You operate at both altitudes, helping set high-level strategy on Monday and sitting down to execute on Tuesday.
- Mission: Deep alignment with Everlab's mission to build the world's most trusted preventive health company.
- Nice to have: Operating experience in a high-growth startup or scale-up. Background or deep interest in healthcare, health tech or clinical services.
- Do work that matters: We're building the future of preventive health. Use your skills to prevent disease, improve access to personalised care, and reduce pressure on the health system.
- Work-life flexibility: Hybrid working with 3 days in the office, plus flexibility to manage life beyond the 9 to 5 when it matters.
- Experience Everlab as a customer: Full access to the Everlab health program, provided after successfully passing probation.
- Share in our success: Employee Share Option Plan included as part of your total remuneration. We grow together.
- People you'll love working with: A welcoming, mission-driven team of smart, thoughtful people doing meaningful work.
