The Position
As an Emergency Medicine Registrar at Whakatāne Hospital, you will work in a smaller, yet dynamic and high-functioning ED that serves a rural and diverse population across the Eastern Bay of Plenty. The role includes clinical shifts rostered alongside experienced SMOs, non-clinical development days, and 1:4 weekend coverage. This position is accredited for 12 months of training with the Australasian College for Emergency Medicine (ACEM). You will be exposed to a broad spectrum of presentations with the added challenge of rural medicine. This role also offers a great lifestyle balance with opportunities to enjoy the outdoors and contribute to community-centred healthcare.
