Physiotherapist Mobile NDIS & Disability Physiotherapy
Your clinic is wherever your patient is
Most physio roles keep you in one room with one treatment table. This one takes you to the patient: their home, their school, a day program, or a local pool or gym. It's a well established, registered NDIS provider with a large multidisciplinary team, and it's looking for a physio who wants to see how much difference practical, goal based therapy can make to someone's independence in everyday life.
What the role looks like
- Mobile physiotherapy delivered across homes, schools, day programs, community spaces and telehealth
- A caseload that can include people with intellectual disability, autism, neurological conditions and mental health needs
- A strong focus on movement, strength and function, with developmental work for some participants
- Opportunities to recommend assistive technology and teach safe movement strategies to participants, families and support workers
- Regular collaboration with OTs, exercise physiologists and dietitians within the same organisation
- A dedicated office team handling referrals and service agreements, so you can focus on therapy
What you'll be doing
- Assessing participants and building practical, goal based therapy plans
- Delivering physiotherapy in a range of real world settings
- Making assistive technology recommendations where they will help
- Providing clear education and training for participants, families and carers
- Writing clear NDIS reports and progress updates
- Working with support coordinators, educators and doctors
What we're looking for
- AHPRA registered Physiotherapist
- Interest in disability and NDIS work, or a genuine willingness to learn
- Confident, clear written communication for reporting
- Comfortable travelling between sessions, with your own car and a current licence (to be confirmed with the client)
- Adaptable, calm and good at building rapport with participants and families
- Team player who values working across disciplines
What's in it for you
- A varied week with real range in settings and presentations
- A multidisciplinary team to collaborate with
- Admin and referral support from a dedicated office team
- A chance to build skills in disability and NDIS work
- Flexible approach to your service area across Sydney, to be discussed
- Competitive package based on experience
