Team Manager, Child Protection roles in Western Melbourne Area:The Child Protection Team Manager is responsible for effective service delivery, managing resources and budget, cases awaiting allocation and small teams of practitioners. The Team Manager has the formal delegation to endorse and review case plans to bring about the changes necessary to ensure the safety, stability and development of children and young people and to promote the achievement of case plan objectives within specified timeframes. The position will work collaboratively with the Senior Child Protection Practitioners to strengthen case practice, provide effective service delivery and to support other practitioners.
The transportation of children is a requirement of this role, as such a valid driver's licence and willingness to travel, including in country regions is essential. There may be the requirement to work overnight and, travel in evenings and early mornings. On occasions, additional hours may be required to ensure the wellbeing of children. Department vehicles are used to support this role.

About the RFMHS:Embedded within Forensicare's Community Directorate, the RFMHS comprise eight teams across the state - one in each Wellbeing region (three in metropolitan Melbourne and five in regional Victoria). These teams operate as 'spokes' to Forensicare's central Community Forensic Mental Health Services (CFMHS) 'hub'.
Each RFMHS team is multidisciplinary, including a manager, medical, nursing and allied health(psychology, social work, occupational therapy)clinicians, as well as administrative support. The teams deliver services to people aged 18 years and overwith forensic mental health concerns.

About the Role:The Senior Clinician will improve outcomes for consumers who have offending risks/problem behaviours and mental illness, and their families and carers through:
- Improving access to Forensicare's specialist forensic mental health services.
- Coordination of care, strengthening referral pathways and providing transition support between specialist mental health care, correctional services and prisons.
- Improving the capability of key local services to manage offending risks of consumers and appropriately refer consumers for specialist assessment and treatment.

Key responsibilities:
- Deliver advanced, strengths-based case management to clients with complex psychosocial needs.

About You
Tertiary qualification (minimum Diploma level; degree level highly desirable) relevant to case management practice with forensic clients; such as social work, psychology, welfare, drug and alcohol or another related field, and/or relevant experience.
Demonstrated capacity or experience in case management of clients presenting with complex needs, with well developed knowledge and/or relevant experience in at least one of the following speciality areas: mental health, acquired brain injury, disability, alcohol and substance use, family violence, or homelessness highly desirable.
Experience in or demonstrated capacity to provide coaching and mentoring to case managers, particularly within an area of advanced knowledge or experience.

About the roleThe Drought Relief - Farm Gate Counsellor supports individuals, families and rural farming communities experiencing significant stress due to drought, providing strengths-based counselling, resilience-building support, advocacy and referrals to appropriate services. The position works closely with local communities and stakeholders to improve mental wellbeing, strengthen community connections, and ensure people affected by drought can access the support they need.
Your responsibilities will include:- Provide strengths-based counselling, emotional support and practical assistance to individuals, families and rural communities affected by drought and rural adversity.
- Engage directly with farming communities, building trusted relationships and identifying people experiencing significant stress who may require support.
- Deliver community education, mental health promotion activities and outreach programs to improve wellbeing, resilience and awareness of available services.
- Coordinate referrals, advocacy and connections to health, welfare, financial and community support services to ensure holistic care.
- Develop strong partnerships with community organisations, stakeholders and health services while maintaining accurate client records and professional documentation
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in counselling, psychology, social work, nursing with professional peak body membership and with the ability to provide high-quality therapeutic support.
- Strong counselling skills and experience using strengths-based, resilience-building and problem-solving approaches to support individuals and families experiencing adversity.
- An understanding of the challenges facing rural and farming communities, with knowledge of the impact drought can have on mental wellbeing, relationships and community resilience.

The opportunity
This is a pivotal executive leadership opportunity to shape the future of ReachOut's digital mental health service ecosystem. As Centre Manager, you'll play a critical role in ensuring young people can access integrated, youth-friendly, family-inclusive services across mental health, physical and sexual health, alcohol and other drugs, and work and study support.

Essential Qualifications
You'll hold:
- Degree qualifications in Allied Health, Social Work, Behavioural or Social Sciences, Mental Health Nursing, Occupational Therapy or another relevant health-related discipline.
- Current professional registration, accreditation or membership relevant to your discipline, including AHPRA registration or AASW membership/eligibility where applicable.
You'll bring demonstrated experience in:
- Leading health, mental health, youth, or community service programs.
- Managing multidisciplinary teams, including recruitment, supervision, coaching, performance development and workforce planning.
- Clinical governance, quality improvement, risk management and service evaluation.
- Contract, funding and operational management, including reporting against organisational and funding requirements.
- Developing and maintaining partnerships across health, community and government sectors.
- Using service and workforce data to drive performance, identify opportunities and improve outcomes.
- Delivering youth-focused and family-inclusive services within complex service environments.
Technical Knowledge and Skills
You'll have strong capability in:
- Clinical governance and integrated service delivery models.

About the roleThis position is responsible for coordinating a culturally safe, family-centered intake function for Western VACCA Family Services. About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced senior headspace clinician who can provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to young people aged 12-25 years, their families and supports.
This role requires a clinician who brings depth of practice, sound clinical judgement and confidence working at a senior level. The successful candidate will demonstrate advanced capability in assessment, engagement, treatment planning, risk formulation and therapeutic support within a youth-friendly, strengths-based and recovery-oriented framework. In addition to providing direct clinical care, the role will contribute to the development of clinical capability across the headspace team by supporting, guiding and mentoring early-career clinicians, modelling high-quality practice and contributing to a reflective, safe and collaborative clinical culture.
The role will support young people presenting with moderate mental health concerns, and at times more complex needs, through individual counselling, brief intervention, group-based programs and coordinated care in collaboration with the broader headspace multidisciplinary team.
Candidates with relevant qualifications in Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing, Registered Nursing, Counselling or other recognised mental health disciplines are encouraged to apply. Demonstrated experience working at a senior clinical level, including the ability to provide informal clinical leadership, consultation and support to less experienced clinicians, will be essential.
