About the role

You will lead the delivery of integrated mental health services across inpatient, intensive care and community settings within a stepped model of care. You will provide strategic and operational leadership to multidisciplinary teams, overseeing workforce, resources, service development and consumer outcomes across the continuum of care.

- Proven management and leadership experience across multidisciplinary mental health services.
- Strong communication, negotiation, problem-solving and change management skills, with the ability to work autonomously and influence at a senior level.
- Experience managing human, financial and physical resources.
- Demonstrated commitment to consumer engagement and culturally appropriate services for Aboriginal consumers and communities.

About the Role:
You will provide clinical leadership and medical governance while overseeing the safe, efficient operation of the Emergency Department at Whyalla Hospital. Working with senior clinicians and the FUNLHN Executive Director Medical Services, you will lead service planning, quality improvement, workforce development and clinical performance, while continuing to provide clinical care.
- Medical practitioner with appropriate specialist qualifications and experience in Emergency Medicine.
- Demonstrated clinical leadership, medical governance and team management skills.
- Strong communication, mentoring and collaboration skills across multidisciplinary teams.
- Experience in quality improvement, clinical incident review, service planning and performance monitoring.
- Ability to lead service development, support medical workforce planning and promote high standards of patient care.
