As the Senior Mental Health Practitioner, you will provide specialist mental health assessment, intervention and therapeutic support to children aged 5-11 years and their families. You will provide clinical supervision, consultation and practice guidance to multidisciplinary team members, supporting high-quality service delivery, reflective practice and positive outcomes for children and families.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive mental health assessment, intervention and support to children aged 5-11 years and their families.
- Deliver a range of age-appropriate, evidence-informed psychological interventions to children aged 5-11 years and their families, supporting mental health, emotional wellbeing, healthy development, resilience and positive family relationships.
- Support parents and carers to strengthen family relationships and build their capacity to respond to their children's developmental, emotional and mental health needs.
- Provide clinical consultation, supervision, specialist advice and therapeutic recommendations to multidisciplinary team members to inform assessment, intervention planning and service delivery.
- Work collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders, including schools, health services and community partners.

About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing or another relevant discipline.
- Registration or accreditation with the relevant professional body (AHPRA, AASW, ACA, PACFA or equivalent).
- Demonstrated experience providing therapeutic, mental health or wellbeing support to children and families.

Importantly, you'll work collaboratively across the broader High Performance team to ensure clear communication and continuity of care as athletes develop and progress through the pathway.
What You'll BringYou'll be a registered Physiotherapist with strong clinical reasoning, rehabilitation and communication skills and an interest in working with developing athletes.
You'll also bring:
- Current AHPRA registration as a Physiotherapist and appropriate professional indemnity
- Current First Aid/CPR
- Strong rehabilitation and clinical reasoning capability

The RoleThe Theatre Hospital Aide assists in maintaining a safe surgical environment and adequate sterile and consumable stock for the Operating Room Suite. In addition, the role prepares surgical case set ups and assists with between case turnarounds.
You will need- The successful applicant will maintain knowledge and practice of hygiene and infection control within a theatre environment.
- The Theatre Hospital Aide is responsible for providing timely set up of surgical equipment and supplies.
