Provide the clinical continuity that turns an adult ADHD diagnosis into a stable, successful treatment journey. Full training, a defined co-management pathway and an expert multidisciplinary team are built around you.
Join us at the forefront of redefining ADHD care across Victoria.
Our patients have already completed an ADHD assessment, with diagnosis confirmed and medication initiated by a consultant psychiatrist. As a GP in our Titration & Follow-Up Clinic, you provide the clinical continuity that helps turn a diagnosis into a stable, successful treatment journey. You will monitor each patient's response, fine-tune treatment within the psychiatrist's plan, and keep care on track through to discharge.
This is a rare opportunity to step into meaningful clinical work with full training, the autonomy of remote practice, and the support of an expert multidisciplinary team. No previous ADHD treatment experience is required.
Job Details
- Location: fully remote within Victoria
- Engagement: full-time employment, part-time employment or contractor options
- Start date: immediately
About ADHD Simple
ADHD Simple is a telehealth clinic specialising in adult ADHD assessment and treatment across New Zealand and Australia. We provide clinically robust ADHD assessments and treatment plans that are affordable, accessible and compassionate.
We are looking for a GP to support our medication follow-up clinic, providing ongoing care for adults across Victoria who have commenced ADHD treatment.
What You Will Do
Working from structured handover documentation and the psychiatrist's co-management plan, you'll:
Patient care
- Conduct structured telehealth follow-up consultations for adults on ADHD medication pathways
- Review treatment response, side effects and tolerability, and manage titration within the psychiatrist's treatment plan
- Monitor patient stability, including reviewing blood pressure, heart rate and other required physical health checks
- Escalate non-response, complex presentations or significant adverse effects to the Lead Psychiatrist
- Support each patient through to stability and discharge to their community GP
Prescribing and documentation
- Apply for and maintain patient-specific Schedule 8 treatment permits through SafeScript where required under Victorian legislation
- Review SafeScript information as required before prescribing monitored medicines
- Obtain any required PBS authority approvals for subsidised prescribing
- Process prescription renewals promptly to avoid preventable gaps in treatment
- Maintain clear, concise and clinically robust consultation notes
- Prepare thorough handover documentation for patients returning to their community GP
Service and governance
- Contribute to the development and refinement of follow-up and titration protocols
- Practise in accordance with AHPRA standards and applicable PBS, SafeScript and Victorian Schedule 8 requirements
- Participate in supervision, team meetings and ongoing service development
- Support audit, quality assurance and clinical governance processes
What You Bring
- Vocational registration as a General Practitioner (FRACGP or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration
- Current professional indemnity insurance
- Excellent consultation, clinical reasoning and documentation skills

Kinkaya is a purpose-built urgent care for kids and young adults in Innaloo, founded by two clinicians whose careers were built primarily in ED. We hire on what you can do - not on what you finished.
Who we are looking for. You're a GP. You started in ED. Some part of you is still there.
Perhaps you enjoy being a GP but miss certain aspects of ED - acuity, procedures, working in a team.
Your training path was probably non-linear. The reasons are yours - they're not something we'll ask you to justify, and they're not what we hire on.
What matters to us is what you can do at the bedside. The triage instincts you trained for years to build. The way you think about an undifferentiated patient. The procedures you used to do without thinking. We know it's easy to lose confidence in these skills when they haven't been practiced for a while. We also know they come back.
We recognise the unique value of clinicians with experience in both GP and ED environments. Kinkaya allows you to practice these complementary skill sets, while giving you the opportunity to refresh and renew ED and procedural skills that may have gotten a little dusty in your time away from the hospital environment.
We'reDrs Smriti Shah and Justin Withnall- two clinicians who worked primarily in ED before founding Kinkaya. We built it because we wanted to keep practicing the medicine we trained for, without the system that came with it. Whatever brought you from ED to GP, you'll find a team here with journeys not unlike your own.
Key criteria
To meet your unique needs and lifestyle.
Development & progressionInitiatives tailored to each team member.
Purpose-built facilitiesNew equipment & excellent team amenities.
What we offerYou'd use your full breadth - paediatrics, undifferentiated acuity, fractures, lacerations, procedures, the cases where someone has to make the call. This is not a GP practice with an x-ray machine. We offer on-site x-ray, pathology, a fracture clinic, paediatric-trained nurses, and paediatrician access. We have the infrastructure to follow up and finish each case, and a team that means you're not standing alone with a sick kid.
- On-site x-ray, daily
- On-site pathology
- Fracture clinic
- Paediatric-trained nurses
- Procedure-equipped rooms
We'd rather you come and try the work before you commit to anything.
